Currently hiring! –  Sleep Center Night Staff in Hermiston.

Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Minimum Level of Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • Bilingual – Spanish preferred
  • Completion of sleep center volunteer training and additional company training specific to night shift responsibilities and expectations
  • Complete trainings as required, including but not limited to first aid, Narcan, and de-escalation.

Qualified candidates must submit to and pass a background check, initial drug screening, driving record, and random drug testing.

Hours: Shifts are 7 pm to 5:30 am or 9 pm to 7:30 am; 7 days a week, potential for 3-4 shifts weekly. Days and hours as scheduled by employer and subject to change based on center needs.

Pay: $18.00 per hour with 30-40 hours/weekly year-round

Provide oversight of the Sleep Center Guests and building including:

  • Ensure safety of overnight guests
  • Be alert, observant, responsive and fully vigilant throughout the night shift
  • Control access and maintain security of the sleep center location
  • Monitor and maintain/support appropriate guest behavior in a respectful, confident and convincing manner, as defined by Sleep Center Agreement and company policy
  • Respond appropriately to guest concerns and needs that may arise during the night; Utilize guidelines provided in the company Guest Expectations Agreement and company policies and procedures
  • Provide regular observation of premises and property, utilizing closed-circuit video system and required hourly walk-through of the premises
  • Promptly contact and effectively communicate with designated sleep center staff, Emergency Services or Law Enforcement when necessary
  • Communicate verbally and in writing and interact in a respectful manner with all sleep center guests, as well as volunteers, peers, supervisory and other sleep center staff and leadership
  • Communicate effectively at beginning and end of shift with volunteers and/or sleep center staff to ensure all are knowledgeable of any incidents or concerns
  • Maintain current knowledge of company record-keeping expectations and perform data entry duties as assigned
  • Perform facility and supply restocking tasks, sorting, cleaning, laundry, inventory and other duties as assigned
  • Provide nightly written documentation of shift activity, following all company procedures
  • Use company vehicle to shuttle guests; either evening pick-up or morning drop-off
